The high-life of the city, or... more accurately, the one area that proves if you're a true New Yorker or not. Gang fights erupt out of seemingly nowhere, and it's a hard struggle to simply walk down the street without arousing unwanted attention. The main rule of this part of the city is to not look at anyone, period. They might get ... bad ideas.

However, if you still wish to stay, you'll be happy to know that there are plenty of good things about the inner city. Namely, cheap drugs, cheap whores, and cheap weapons. Worst part? Finding a taxi. Have fun waving, chum!

This is it - the Omnipresent. Some say it's the best club in all of New York - so wonderful, that it doesn't even need to be exclusive to keep all the 'unworthy' away. Others say it's where they met every single one of their lovers - in the back rooms, of course. The rest just say that it's just the best place to get a drink they know of; and once you know the Omnipresent, you never look for another.

However, in all actuality, the Omnipresent is simply the best bar, club, and hotel around. Their barman (though he prefers a much fancier term) knows every drink you could possible think of or make up - and then some. The music is current and bouncy, and the dance floor is simply huge. There aren't even stools - but nice, cushioned chairs ... however expensive they are.
And don't even get me started on those back rooms of theirs. Holy!

Best part of the Omnipresent? Cheap as fuck. Go crazy.

The infamous SPK headquarters, taking the form of a... huge skyscraper. Jeez, what isn't a skyscraper in New York City these days? Let me answer that - all the lame places. Duuuh.

And the SPK is definitely not lame. They're so cool that they're treated like a special club (yay!). You see, it's quite the talk of the town - known to house the current L, even. They tackle any case pressed onto them, and then some.

Needless to say, you need express permission before you are permitted to waste their time with your trivial problems. Permission that you're unlikely to earn. Goodbye.

I do believe that everyone knows of the Big Apple's "Core" of sorts. One can gather in the middle, discuss battle plans, reunite with old friends, go for walks, or, as everyone seems to adore doing, rent a horse for the evening and goof around on it with your friends.
