[/b] Quite obviously the big guns of the group. Everyone listens to him, and he has the final say over everything that happens with the family. Trust his judgment over all. Owns everything connected to Skyder. Also called "The Papa" by the sentimental types. (Current Leader is NPC Oliver Anselm.)
Skyder.
Just the name of it strikes fear into the innocents; the organization full of the worst of criminals, the dirges of society, even. But what do they do? How did they come to be? What could possibly be their overall objective? As a new recruit, you probably are asking all of these questions. That's no problem - we're all naive at one point in time. These few pages are meant to educate you, enlighten you of our being. As a desperate criminal yourself, we expect you to trust us. We're more than a stupid gang off the street - we're a family. A family with a very strict set of rules. Pray you adhere to them.
Oh, and if you haven't already gotten the drift - burn after reading.
The History and Visions of Skyder.
We actually come from very humble beginnings, as you might expect a group to say. Our leader started Skyder with his partner as an opposition group against Kira; one that didn't rely on things such as "the law," and without the worries of the police breathing down our necks. It was started so that criminals could oppose Kira without fear of one of their brethren betraying them, and so that those who quivered under the threats of 'divine judgment' knew that they were not alone.
Kira sees criminals as bad, as people who are disgusting and do not possess the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - of which the United States (where we reside) was built upon. We see him as a true evil; or at the very least and maniacal hypocrite of a child that needs to be put into time out. As a group we cannot do much against him, but by simply persevering and showing Kira that no matter how hard he tries we will not back down and stop doing 'bad things.'
We are criminals, and we know this, acknowledge this, and even keep the title with pride. Yes, we bend the laws to get what we want. Most of us were born criminals, meaning our family took part in those activities, or turned to the life in desperation... and never got out for whatever reason. We're not bad people, we just have unconventional methods to get what we want.
However, in Skyder:
We do not rape.
We do not kill without a proper purpose.
Period. Those two rules must be upheld - or else you are not welcome into our family.
Also, you must trust every member with your true name, and private business. There is nothing shameful about your past, and we'd like to know you. This is a family, after all.
One common thread has united all in Skyder since 2008, when it was first established - all of us in it have had our lives impacted by Kira in some way. He might have killed your family, a friend, or just made your life miserable as you live in constant fear. We're here to help. We'll take you in as we unite in our common cause.
As of 2011, we thought we'd heard the last from Kira - but then a group calling themselves "Sakura" emerged; a cult of sorts that are trying to 'revive' Kira in some sort of way. Normally we wouldn't care about them, since we were in the middle of renovating out entire group into a regular crime family... but then... they attacked us.
We're not sure how, but they acquired information about us, and launched a large-scale war-greeting. It was a surprise attack, and as such we didn't stand a chance. Skyder suffered ten loses that day, and we have never forgiven them. In fact, we pledged war on them as well - and ever since then we've been the bitterest of enemies.
Now we help each other with our crime sprees, but we mainly control a large part of California; gaining money through our prostitution houses, drug business, and our other ventures. One could call us the closest thing to a mafia, what with Kira killing off most of that group. We plan to expand into New York by 2017.
Once we kill off Sakura, of course.
Our Mission.
To provide a home to frightened criminals everywhere, and to destroy Organization Sakura.
Our enemies.
As of right now, the United States government and Organization Sakura.
Reward System.
We of course praise and reward good behavior (keeping tabs on our businesses, a successful robbery, learning the plans of Sakura, etc) with things such as promotions, raises, and privileges
within the family. We do punish bad behavior, of course, but pray you never earn it.
And let's put it this way - if you betray the family, expect the family to get you back.
Bi-Weekly Salary.
We pay all new recruits a one every two weeks salary of $200. We negotiate all other salaries.
Ranks.
Second in Command: Who the leader sends out to carry out most of his plans, often provides most of the meat of a plan - and has absolute say over everyone but the leader - but can often sway him more easily than anyone else. Often the partner of the leader, and is usually called "The Mama," even if they happen to be male. (Current Second in Command is NPC Grace Anselm.)
Inner Circle: The true blood family of the leader, or the individuals closest to him. May have zero of fifteen - it all depends on the leader's loyalties. They have top privileges, and can command the Family Police. Usually have a business of the family's at their command. Called the big brothers and sisters. (Current members of the Inner Circle: N/A)
Family Police: The brutes of the Family - the protectors, the fighters. They know their stuff, and are always willing to help. Often join together to own a business of the family's, and have top pick of rooms in the base. Called the cousins. (Current members of the Family Police: N/A.)
Members of the Family: The backbone of Skyder - all the common people in the group. They live to become important to the Leader, but seem pretty content. They all own a room in the family base, but all other property is up for grabs. Called the brothers and sisters. (Current members of the Family: N/A.)
Servants: The prisoners that the family has caught, and the betrayers. Often given rude nicknames. No privileges whatsoever. (Current servants: N/A.)[/ul]
That is, in closing, all you need to know about the family.
Your interview with me is already set - be sure to be timely. Ask any questions to me there.
Welcome to the family. It's good to have you with us.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
- Oliver Anselm, leader of Organization Skyder.
